Bishop Kevin will celebrate Mass on Wednesday 27th January at 10.30am in Sligo Cathedral to mark the 250th Anniversary of the arrival of the Ursuline Sisters in Ireland. We will be joined online by Sisters and their friends, present and past teachers and students from around Ireland and further afield. To help you prepare for your child’s First Communion, a group of trained Catechists appointed by Bishop Kevin are inviting your family (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles) to three, 30 minutes sessions designed to support you as you develop faith at home with your children. Our intention is to support and ‘walk with you’ on this important faith journey. The sessions will be informal and enjoyable.
TIME: 8.00 – 8.30pm
1st SESSION Wednesday, May 26th: Five Ways to Develop Faith at home with your children.
2nd SESSION Wednesday, June 2nd: Forgiveness and Reconciliation
3rd SESSION Wednesday June 9th: Using Bible Stories to develop Faith at home with your children.

The Partners in the Gospel are delivering three Zoom sessions to parents of children preparing for the celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation in the Diocese of Elphin. The focus of the sessions is on supporting parents in accompanying their children on their faith journey.
