Speaking about parish Catechists, Bishop Kevin says “Their mission, in partnership with the priests and others who are active in the life of the parish community, will be to help the whole parish community to move beyond the routine into a deeper lived relationship with Jesus Christ and to become, in the words of Pope Francis, missionary disciples”.

Join Bishop Kevin and Sligo Cathedral Choir on Sunday 13th November at 12 noon in giving thanks to God for the graces received during the Jubilee Year of Mercy.
Bishop Doran will celebrate Mass to mark the 75th Anniversary of Riverstown Church.
Mass to celebrate the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, after whom our Cathedral is named.
You are invited to join Bishop Kevin and local Civic leaders for Mass to mark the 50th World Day of Peace at 12 noon on Sunday 1st January 2017 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo.

Family Retreat Day – Sligo
