Red Wednesday 2018

You are invited to join Aid to the Church in Need on Wednesday November 28th to ‘Make a stand for Faith & Freedom’ by wearing red, praying red and lighting red to remember our suffering, persecuted BUT not forgotten Christian brothers and sisters throughout the world. Many churches & public buildings will be lit up in red in solidarity on Nov 28th to highlight Christian persecution.

On Wednesday in Sligo, there will be a talk after 10.30am Mass in the Dominican Friary, followed by Eucharistic Adoration to pray for our fellow Christians.   In St. Anne’s Church, Cranmore Road at 7pm that evening there will be a talk by Fr Victor Samugana and a time of prayer. All are most welcome to these events. Please remember to pray the Angelus at 12noon and 6pm for the intentions of Red Wednesday.
