Visit of the Relics of St Bernadette
In September and October this year, the relics of St Bernadette will journey on pilgrimage to Ireland for the very first time, visiting every diocese in the country.
This very special, once-in-lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes in their diocese.
In the Diocese of Elphin, the relics of St Bernadette will visit:
- Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo 1st – 2nd October (F91 CF59)
- Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Athlone 2nd – 4th November (N37 AK84)
- Church of the Risen Christ, Kiltoom on 5th November (N37 NY36)
In the Diocese of Achonry, the relics of St Bernadette will visit:
- Cathedral of the Annunciation and St Nathy, Ballaghaderreen, 5th – 6th October (F45 FW27)
