Visual displays can communicate hope, encouragemen and other desires of the human heart very powerfully. For this reason Catholic schools are encouraged to give expression to their ethos and identity through the provision of sacred spaces, which ideally, will incorporate student input, and the input of various members of staff, e.g. Chaplain, RE teacher, Art Teacher. It is good too for such displays to change periodically, September (New Beginnings), November (We Remember), Advent (the basis of our hope) etc.
